LIVASTRIDE | Brody's Story
Brody was a happy, caring, energetic young man who had everything to live for. He was very intelligent and had a desire for learning about almost everything. Brody played sports throughout his school years and hunting and fishing was a big part of his life. His family and friends meant everything to him and he had numerous college friends and business associates that admired him as he strived to be his best.

I was born with a severe hearing loss. On the hearing scale, I am considered to be deaf. My hearing loss is progressive, it gets worse as time goes on. As of right now, I have zero hearing in my left ear and about 15% of hearing in my right hear. I wear a hearing aid on my right ear so that I am able to hear. I go to a regular public high school just like the average student. The only help that I get in school is a microphone that I carry with me. It allows me to hear but I still have to give teachers my undivided attention. I do cross country and track and field. I can’t hear when the start gun goes off so I have to watch the starter’s trigger finger.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
Our team has participated in the Livastride Summer Slam Baseball Tournament for the past three years. This tournament has undoubtedly become a team favorite among our boys, coaches, and parents. The tournament itself is very well organized and ran. The setting in Morgan is spectacular and the added opportunity for the boys to participate in the home run derby is the icing on the cake. This is a really fun tournament with the added benefit of supporting an even greater cause. The Livastride Foundation strives to provide suicide awareness among our youth by encouraging them to stay active and be involved. Thanks to all the good folks at Livastride for their hard work and dedication with this endeavor!Steve Palmer
In July 2014 Livastride gave me and my children a check for $1,000. I can’t begin to thank you enough for your thoughtfulness during our time of loss & tragedy. How you touched our lives during the loss of my husband & my children’s father. We will continue to support your foundation throughout the years. I am truly grateful to you all and wish that suicide wasn’t a part of our lives. I would give everything I have to have my husband back. Thanks for spreading the word and to let others know there is help out there , that suicide is not the answer. May God bless you always.Cheri Craig
